Patios, walkways, and driveways installed with precision paver work that adds lasting value to your property.
Most paver failures in the Hudson Valley aren’t paver failures. They’re base failures. Pavers sitting on a base that wasn’t excavated deep enough or compacted properly will move as the ground freezes and thaws through the winter, and by year three you’re looking at a wavy patio and lipped edges that catch a toe.
We install to the depth the soil actually requires, compact in lifts, and handle edge restraint and drainage so the finished surface stays where we put it.
You get one point of contact, a written quote for the actual scope, and a crew that cleans up the site properly at the end, a detail customers mention in reviews more often than the stonework itself.

Front walks, garden paths, and stone steps that stay level and safe through the winter.
Learn about walkwaysIt depends far more on site conditions than on square footage alone: access, existing grade, drainage needs, and material choice all move the number. Rather than quote a misleading per-foot figure, we walk the property and give you a written price for your actual project, free.
A properly installed paver patio should last decades, and individual pavers can be lifted and reset if something is ever damaged. What shortens that lifespan is almost always an inadequate base. We install on a compacted base built for freeze-thaw movement, which is the difference between a patio that stays flat and one that ripples after three winters.
In some cases, yes, if the slab is sound, drains properly, and the added height doesn't create problems at doors and thresholds. If the slab is cracked or holding water, overlaying it just moves the problem up an inch. We'll check and tell you which applies.
Spring through fall is typical, but installation runs later into the season than most homeowners expect around here. If you're planning for spring, booking over the winter usually means a better spot in the schedule than calling in April.
"We just had work done by Krafft's Lawn and Landscape. It was a fairly big job, and we were thrilled with the results. When we called, Ryan came out within 24 hours and did a thorough inspection of the site. He listened intently to what we wanted to do and actually heard us. He then gave us a quote for exactly what we needed, at a very fair price. The work they did was thorough and exact, and when they were done, the clean-up was the best we've ever had. They treated our yard like it was their own. Overall, a perfect job, a fair price, with responsive and honest people. They'll be our first choice when we need more work done."
"What a great experience all around!! We had a ~100 ft run of not-so-easy-to-replace fence to replace, rocky space, thru a tree, and dodging limby shrubs, with elevation change. They took care of the permitting for us! and they did a super clean demo and haul away. Setting the new fencing was truly impressive to watch, they took great pains to make sure each section was square, plumb, and level. Really nice work! We love it! We will never hesitate to work with Ryan & Co. again!! Highly recommended!"
"Ryan and the Krafft team did structural and landscaping work for us to mitigate leaking into our basement from torrential rains. The foundation, yard, and sidewalk work they did was top-notch. Bottom line: great work, great price, and great people. They are trustworthy and I'll work with them again for our next project."
